Turn your next flight into a mission.

Choose a mission pack

Avionics Buddy already includes 3 challenges to get you started. For more, choose a mission from the Mission Library below and download its .avmission file to your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Add it to Avionics Buddy

Open Avionics Buddy and go to Statistics → Challenges. Tap “+ Add Mission Pack”, select the .avmission file you downloaded, and Avionics Buddy will import the complete challenge for you.

Once imported, the new mission appears alongside your other challenges with its airports, objectives, progress and medal.

Open the challenge

Select your new mission to see the airports you need to visit. There is nothing to check off manually — Avionics Buddy keeps track of which challenge airports you have completed.

Connect and start flying

Connect Avionics Buddy to Microsoft Flight Simulator through FlightBridge as usual, then fly to any of the airports in your challenge.

You can complete the airports in your own flights — there is no need to finish the entire challenge in one session.

Land. We track the rest.

When you land at a required airport, Avionics Buddy recognizes the landing automatically and updates your challenge progress. No check-in button, manual confirmation or separate tracking is needed.

Complete every required airport and the mission medal is added to your Awards.
